CO2 can be easily detected by classical analytical methods, but in hundreds of agricultural or industrial applications a continuous monitoring is needed. In many cases the precise determination of these compounds is unnecessary, when the concentration reaches a certain level it is sufficient to give an alarm or to switch the ventilation on.
In wine cellars, during the fermentation process, the level of CO2 increases dramatically. This gas is non-toxic, but due to its higher density can displace air from closed premises, causing even the death of humans.
We offer solutions! Our instruments are based on the needs mentioned above. A compact box includes the optical chemical sensors and the built in electronics, which is capable of giving alarm or switch the ventilation system on, when reaching a preset concentration of the analyte.
The dynamic ranges of the instruments are 0-8 V% for CO2. Although the sensors in the devices have limited lifetimes, the replacement is easy.
